Holiday Event Guide for Meridian

The holiday season is almost upon us, and many fun holiday-related events are happening in Meridian this year:

Lowel Scott Middle School Holiday Bazaar

Lowell Scott Middle School, 13600 W. McMillan Rd.

Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More information: Lowell Scott Middle School is hosting its 12th annual Holiday Bazaar. Get into the holiday spirit with live music, local performers, holiday shopping, and delicious treats. There is no entrance fee for the bazaar.

Early Bird Bazaar

Meridian Senior Center/Center at the Park, 1920 N. Records Way

Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More information: This in-person event is perfect for those who love shopping for one-of-a-kind items. With a wide variety of vendors selling everything from handmade crafts to vintage clothing, there is something for everyone.

Mountain View Bands Holiday Bazaar

Mountain View High School, 2000 S. Millennium Way

Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

More information: There is a selection of handmade gifts by local artisans and businesses. Baked goods and food items will also be for sale. The event supports Mountain View Band Boosters, band kids and local business owners in the valley.

Christmas Community Lights

Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15, Dec. 22, Dec. 29 and Jan. 5.

More information: Meridian residents are invited to add their holiday light display to the online map to share. Use the map to find lights throughout the city.

Christmas in Meridian Winter Lights Parade and Community Tree Lighting

Generations Plaza, 804 N. Main St.

Dec. 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

More information: The parade will float through old town Meridian to usher in the start of the holiday season. Santa will join and bring his magic to light the city Christmas Tree that will shine throughout this festive season in Generations Plaza.

Shop Downtown Meridian Night

Generations Plaza, 804 N. Main St.

Dec. 5 from 5 to 9 p.m.

More information: Downtown will be bustling with pop-up vendors. Grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant, and place your vote for the Downtown Decorating Contest.

Christmas in Meridian Children's Winterland Festival

Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Boys and Girls Club, 911 N. Meridian Rd.

More information: The free event, hosted in the Boys and Girls Club, offers a variety of Christmas crafts, games, treats and photos with Santa. Call Meridian Parks & Recreation at (208)888-3579 for additional information.

Sixth Annual Interfaith Community Drive-thru Food Drive

Vertical View Climbing Gym parking lot, 1334 E. Bird Dog Dr.

Dec. 10 from 3 to 5 p.m.

More information: Join the mayor, community, civic, interfaith leadership and youth groups to gather non-perishables for two food banks or donate gift cards or cash, all benefitting children's Christmas wishes. New donated blankets will be given to refugee and homeless shelters. All donations are tax-deductible.

Meridian Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert

Meridian High School Performing Arts Center, 1900 W. Pine Ave.

More information: Take a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some of the season's most beloved music at our annual holiday concert being performed on both evenings.
