Volunteer Work at an Orphanage in Kenya

Working with the children is a rewarding experience for volunteers and this is one of our most popular programs in Kenya. Under this program, our volunteers work with the existing staff to take care of the children in orphanages. The work in a children's home involves feeding, dressing and keeping the kids active within the homes. Other tasks include cleaning the homes as well as cooking. If you choose to do volunteer work in orphanages, you need to be adaptable, flexible and prepared to face and hear heartbreaking stories of their backgrounds.

Volunteers will also be assisting local staff and caretakers in daily work to help them run the orphanage in a better way. Volunteers work from Monday to Friday every week and are free on weekends to go for safaris and explore Nairobi.
